What does a curl specialist do?

As a curl specialist, I do dry curl by curl haircuts, steam conditioning treatments, and custom color for all curl types and textures.

What is your most popular service?

The service I book the most is my dry curl by curl haircuts! I have always been more drawn to hair cutting, even in cosmetology school! Cutting hair (especially dry cutting) just made sense to me and it’s something that I never want to give up.

Why did you choose to become a curl specialist?

As a curly girl myself, I never had a stylist who truly knew and understood my curls. Whenever I would get my hair done it had to be straightened first, which wasn’t ideal. So when I became a stylist I knew that I wanted to work with curls, but work with them in their natural form without compromising the results!

Do you really only do curly hair?

Yes, I really do! I still have a few clients who are from my previous salon that have straight hair, but I don’t take new clients with straight hair.

Do you cut wavy hair too?

I do, and I love it! To me waves, curls, coils or a mixture of these textures are all included within my speciality. As long as your hair has some bend to it, you’re good to go!
